Kayak Tillamook has been excellent to work with. Marcus is a top-rate leader with a focus on safety and telling the local stories. I’m proud to work with a small, locally-owned business that values conservation and community, and I look forward to working with Kayak Tillamook for many years to come.

Our group explored the Miami Cove and River on a team building trip with Kayak Tillamook and had a blast. Communication was prompt and always spot on. They helped us figure out the best location and were flexible with dates and group size (as best the tides allowed). We found the diversity of surroundings to be captivating, the kayaks and gear were fantastic and their guides to be professional, courteous and fun. This service is one I'd definitely recommend to any company or group seeking a bonding adventure for their team.

Marcus and his team of highly professional and experienced kayaking guides have been fabulous to work with, both on and off the water. Their ability to adjust and cater to different skill levels within the group has been phenomenal and has kept my group of 50+ participants signing up for these trips repeatedly. The top of the line experience that Kayak Tillamook offers is second to none, and I’d recommend their services to anyone looking for a quality tour of our Oregon waters.

I have enjoyed working with Kayak Tillamook for several years now both as an individual and as an organizer of youth groups. They are great for helping people explore often overlooked local areas convenient off Rt 101 on the Oregon coast. The equipment is always ready, in fine shape, attractive to even the most reluctant participant, and fitted for use to each person’s needs. The guides have been super on safety, trip suggestions, help getting in and out, as well as information that adds so much to what you are seeing (or would miss if someone didn’t add to your trip with some history or flora and fauna knowledge!). If you’re looking for an accessible experience that will change the way you drive the coast, I recommend Kayak Tillamook highly!

Tillamook PUD hosted the Oregon PUD Association annual meeting in the Fall of 2012. One of the pre-conference activities was a kayak trip by Kayak Tillamook. It was a lovely day, and the guests were able to enjoy the beauty of the Nestucca River. There were many positive comments about the guides and their knowledge of the area. Marcus was great to work with and did everything possible to make the trip enjoyable for everyone.

Our 8th grade class of 21 students and three chaperones spent one week on the Oregon Coast. As part of our adventure we had a Kayaking tour with Kayak Tillamook. It was amazing how organized, efficient, friendly these people were with our class. We had a quick check in about water safety and kayaking and then we were on our way. It was three hours of pure fun. The tide took us out quickly and we were very proud of our kayaking prowess. After a show of many, many harbor seals playing peek a boo with our group we headed back. The wind had picked up and we were now working very hard to crawl upstream. Our group worked together with the Kayak Tillamook team to power back to the dock. Our guides taught us how to have our stronger kayakers break the wind and current. We had one person fall out of their kayak and sure enough all was well due to the preparedness our guides had given us before heading out. Overall our experience was one of the highlights of our trip. I strongly recommend you grab a friend and head out on the water with these guys.
