Nestucca Bay | Tue | 08/30/22 | 08:00am - 11:30am
The confluent of the Little Nestucca and Nestucca rivers is your entryway to Nestucca Bay. Entering the bay from one of these rivers, you can paddle inches above a barnicle encrusted rocky shoreline and observe dungenous crabs while they hunt for food. In summer you might stick your hand into a bubbling sandy bottom opposite the rocky shoreline, or paddle next to Jellies (aka Jelly Fish) of different shapes and colors whch are mostly present in Fall. Harbor Seals visit this bay year-round and their curiousity tends to get the best of them when kayaks are around.
